An appropriate and balanced exercise program is key to accomplishing a healthier way of living. This can be achieved by educating oneself about the methods for executing a functional workout program. As a personal trainer, he gives his best to help you attain your goals, regardless of what those fitness goals may be.

He has trained a tremendous number of people in the last 10 years and knows the amount of time involved for physical development and improvement is unique to each individual. People have different goals, are motivated by different environmental factors, and benefit from a custom approach tailored to their individual physiological abilities. Your time is too valuable to be wasted on a cookie-cutter exercise program and oversimplified maxims like “no pain no gain.”

His philosophy is to customize a program that meets each of his client’s unique needs regardless of what they are. Whether you want to lose weight, prepare for a marathon, or just stay fit, he will work with you to design a program that maximizes your results through science-based methods. More importantly, it will be an ongoing program that remains fun and challenging as the workouts will be changed and modified to reflect individual progressions and accomplishments.

I participated in Ulises's boot camp for several months and have to say that I've never had a better training experience.  This comes from someone who's played organized sports and served in the military.  Ulises worked every muscle in numerous different ways.  Over those several months, he taught me over 150 different exercises -- some based primarily in cardio, some in strength, some in balance and core technique, some in flexibility and others that combined them all.  The variety made the workouts interesting and challenging.  Because Ulises was monitoring my weight, body fat, cardio capacity, strength and flexibility on a monthly basis, I could see the gain from all the work.  This was a huge inspiration.  During workouts, Ulises was a source of knowledge on physical therapy, anatomy and workouts.  A final note, when Ulises is doing your workout, he stays focused on you.  He's not busy chatting with others or looking around the gym.  He's a real professional.  I can't recommend him high enough.

I have been a client of Ulises' on and off for the last year and-a-half, sadly I had to cancel my membership at Fitness 101 as of tomorrow.  I have so enjoyed working with him though, that I wanted to send a recommendation on his behalf to let you know what an asset he is to your staff!

I had never worked with a trainer before, and Ulises was always very supportive and encouraging.  He pushed me when I needed to work harder, always having faith that I could finish the set or handle a little more weight.  He had more faith in me than I had in myself!

In addition to being a very professional and knowledgeable trainer, he was also always in a great mood.  Even at the end of a long day, he was upbeat and friendly, and he kept me motivated when I was exhausted.

You probably already know what an amazing person he is, but I couldn't leave the gym without sharing my own personal experience.  Working with Ulises really made my Fitness 101 experience invaluable.  I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great trainer!
