Personal Trainers

Mobius Fit is principally a Small Group Training facility but we do offer Personal Training Services. One of the unique advantages that a Personal Trainer has at Mobius Fit is that they can incorporate our Small Group Training classes into your training regimen. Personal Trainers at Mobius Fit work directly with each individual so you can coordinate your schedules, program designs, and personal items directly with them. Gabe Brewer

RAW Instructor, Personal Trainer

Gabe grew up playing many different sports, including baseball, football, and wrestling. He participated in martial arts as a child but rediscovered his love for it as an adult in the form of Muay Thai. The process of developing his sport specific abilities and skills as a young athlete we’re something he took great pride in, so working out has always been an enjoyable priority. His focus now is helping other people find that joy working out and ultimately building confidence in their everyday life. 

Philosophy: “Success is about being your best self, not about being better than the other; failure is an opportunity; not a condemnation; effort is the key to success.”

Education: Pursuing degree in Kinesiology

Colleen Daley

RAW Instructor, Personal Trainer
Colleen, says she became a personal trainer because she had hired her own trainer when she graduated from college and the results were incredible. She says “My body composition changed, and it felt empowering to be able to do a push up on my own. The little victories kept me going. It has changed my life and how I view myself”.  She strives to help others achieve the same life changing results that she has seen.

Jessie Evans

RAW Instructor, Personal Trainer
Jessie has been an athlete her entire life. She competed on the CSU Monterey Bay Women’s Basketball team as a shooting guard through her four years of college. Jessie has a passion in fitness because she loves to see how rewarding it is for others to feel strong and healthy. Jessie’s hobbies include anything and everything outdoors such as hiking, biking, kayaking, dirt biking, and snowboarding. A fun fact about Jessie, is that she broke both of her wrists snowboarding the day before her first day of work at Mobius Fit.

Education: B.S. Kinesiology at CSU Monterey Bay. Working towards a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Certified personal trainer ACSM.

Julian Gourdine

“For several summers, I worked at a fitness and weight loss camp. My last summer, I was promoted to the  Director’s position and managed the entire camp. My passion for fitness grew every summer and it is one of the main reasons that I choose to enter into the industry. I have been athletic all my life and enjoy helping others live happy and healthy lives.”

Angie Mercado

RAW Fitness Director, Studio Instructor and Personal Trainer

Angie is the RAW Program Director at Mobius Fit. Angie has been teaching Group Exercise classes for over 20 years.  She is the founder of Fit2Beat in Redwood City.  She offers musically charged, high-energy cardio dance and conditioning classes.  She also spends time as a personal trainer and nutrition specialist, focusing primarily on small group training.  Angie enjoys coaching in the small group setting and designing creative workouts for clients of all levels. She strives to be a motivational influence to her clients as they work toward their fitness goals and, or lifestyle modifications. Aside from providing a great workout, Angie’s goal is to create joy through movement.

B.S. University of San Francisco with a degree in Exercise Sport Science. Certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE).

Al Painter

Foundation Instructor and Personal Trainer

Al has an award winning approach over 19 years of industry experience, he creates fitness programs based on what you want to do, how you like to do it and while making sure you have as much fun as possible along the way. Since 2001, he’s helped Silicon Valley residents have more energy, laugh as much as they train and get pretty darn strong.

He has coached baseball from the T-Ball to the Varsity level and all points in between. This includes waiting to play in a wood bat hardball league this summer. He also raced  mountain bikes from 2006-2012 and even found the top step of the podium a few times! Fitness means being able to stay strong (and pain free!) enough to keep up with his kids who seem to think my “Off” switch is broken!

Narmina has a multitude of athletic passions ranging from running, yoga, spinning, TRX training, flexibility and strength training. Her educational background is in physics and marketing, but her passions took her into the athletic career and she continues to expand her education in this field.

Shane Stent

RAW Instructor, Personal Trainer
From 24 hour adventures to road races and from the Murph Challenge to mobility, Shane brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his coaching and personal training. If Shane is not coaching at Mobius, he can be found with his wife and two kids, selling homes as an agent at Compass Realty, coaching for the Academy Volleyball Club or with his three dogs. In between all that, he still finds time to sleep, train and ride his bike.

Shane is drawn to fitness and all you can gain from it. “I just love the variety and high intensity in all forms of fitness that can prepare you for the unexpected whether that’s tubing with the kids or a 12 hour ruck event or just moving stuff around at your house.” Given the times, health and fitness will be paramount to our everyday wellness.

Becky Stout

As a professional dancer and former Rockette, Becky accredits barre and fitness training for preventing injuries during her rigorous performing career in NYC. Her classes balance the grace of ballet, the energy of dance, the flexibility of yoga and the core strength of Pilates to upbeat, motivating music. She has a heartfelt mission to encourage everyone along their fitness journey, and regardless of age, limitations, or starting place, she will have you smiling through your sweat with her enthusiasm and warmth.

Jordana Vella

Studio Instructor & Personal Trainer

Jordana has worked in the fitness industry since 1983 as a Fitness Manager and Director, Personal Trainer, Fitness Consultant, and Group Instructor.  After suffering a knee injury 2006, Jordana conducted extensive research to learn new methods of exercise to help her recover. This led to the development of her unique class, Chic Physique. 

Jordana brings unstoppable energy to every class and client she teaches. She combines her athleticism with her dance background into creative choreography in her classes and workouts; this is what sets her apart from most teachers. She is proud to say she started her career alongside of Jane Fonda and before women really worked out in weight rooms.  Fitness is forever and Jordana strives to incorporate fitness into everybody’s everyday lives.

Education: She is certified in many modalities from various reputable associations such as IDEA. Jordana studied Dance and Nutrition at Canada College, Santa Monica College, and SF State University. She earned three national Silver Medals from the National Aerobics Championship Competitions.

I’m an Experienced, Registered Yoga Teacher, Mat Pilates Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer and Healthy Lifestyle Principles Coach with Advanced Training in Weight Management. 24 years in the health and fitness industry.  Autism mom and wellness warrior. Practicing yoga, swimming, kayaking and stand up paddling are my personal passions.”

Chermayne Yago

Personal Trainer and RAW Instructor
Chermayne says “I grew up really involved with sports, basketball, track & field and softball. Softball was my primary sport, I was lucky enough to play at a collegiate level. When I finished with my BS in Sports and Exercise Therapy from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. I decided to move back home to Hawaii where I first started as a personal trainer.”
She loves working with people as she states: “The reward of being the ultimate support system to a stranger is that in time they become a friend and I get to share their journey as my journey and their success becomes OUR success, that is always the best feeling.”
If she is not in the gym  then you can find her typically at home playing with her three fluffy bunnies (probably how she gets all her energy).
